OUR PROGRAM.

The residency acts as a soft diplomacy tool. Bringing together government, private enterprise, and charitable organizations to drive social and economic development in areas of greatest need.

We transform abandoned spaces into art making spaces, both for the residency and for ongoing community use and our state of the art portable living and making spaces allow us to easily transport the residency to rural and remote locations where our program can have the greatest impact.  ​

We focus on the preservation and support of community and culture. Building off the existing cultural landscape we bring diverse high-profile artists from across the globe as mentors to collaborate with local artists. Living, collaborating, exhibiting, and exchange ideas, positioning the residency as a global centre for arts and culture.

​Surrounded by an arts festival, events  held throughout the residency invite the public to participate through exhibitions, performances, social events, and talks and masterclasses .​​
